We are now looking for a Dental Nurse for our clinics in Bromölla and Åhus. The setup of work at each clinic may vary depending on operational needs.

You will be welcomed by happy and engaged colleagues. The clinic in Bromölla has seven treatment rooms, and the clinic in Åhus has five treatment rooms, located in fresh and bright premises. The clinics are centrally located and offer good commuting opportunities with proximity to both bus and parking. Here, you will meet patients with various care needs and of all ages. We offer broad dental expertise ranging from health-promoting and preventive examinations to emergency dental care and advanced treatments. The clinics in Åhus and Bromölla are part of a merger and share a common clinic manager.

Job Responsibilities

As a Dental Nurse at Folktandvården Skåne, you play a vital role in our work to provide health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages. You assist one of our skilled dentists through examination and X-ray assistance, delegated patient treatment, and administrative work such as cost estimates and handling referrals. Some work in the reception area may also occur.

Folktandvården Skåne works with team dentistry, which means you work both independently and together with your colleagues. With team dentistry, you have the opportunity to work at the top of your competence with greater variety, knowledge exchange, and increased participation.

Qualifications

You have a Dental Nurse degree and Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. Furthermore, you have basic computer skills and preferably experience working with systems used in dentistry. We offer training in the medical record system Alfa eCare Clinics.
