About the role

In the role of Project Manager, you will work on-site with one of our clients in Stockholm on exciting and complex projects.

The assignment involves responsibility for the BEST contract within a tramway project. The work includes, among other things, track installation with vibration-damping measures, detailed planning within the track area, and contact line work including poles and fixings in bridge structures. The role also includes work related to electrical installations, remote control, grounding, as well as signal and telecommunications installations.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Responsibility for planning, steering, and monitoring production within the sub-project.
• Lead and coordinate contractors and drive construction and economic meetings.
• Monitor time, economy, quality, and ETA management, as well as ensure reporting and corrective actions in case of deviations.
• Collaborate with project managers, production managers, contractors, municipalities, and other stakeholders in the project.
• Coordinate interfaces between different contracts and operations to ensure progress and commissioning.
• Ensure that work is carried out according to current requirements regarding safety, environment, working environment, and technical guidelines.
• Participate in inspections and contribute to handover to the operations organization.

Who are you?

To succeed in the role, we see that you have a good understanding of construction work related to railways and experience working in larger and complex infrastructure projects.

We are looking for someone who is responsible and drives your work forward. You are communicative and find it easy to collaborate with different parties in complex project environments. At the same time, you are structured and meticulous in your work.

Furthermore, you need to have:

• Relevant and completed university or university college education.
• Several years of experience from the construction and civil engineering industry, including several years in leadership roles with responsibility for contracts and agreements.
• Experience from larger and complex infrastructure projects with high project budgets.
• Experience working on the client side within public operations, such as municipal, regional, or state organizations.
• Experience as a project manager, sub-project manager, or design manager within railway or tramway projects.

It is highly meritorious if you have experience working in leadership roles such as site manager, production manager, construction manager, or foreman within railway or tramway projects.

Additional information

The position is a full-time consulting assignment (40h/week) for a period of 2 years with great opportunities for extension.
