Do you want to play a central role in supporting children and families on Hisingen? Then this position might be for you.

The High-Intensity Team (HIT) belongs to the Department of Children and Young People, Resource Hisingen, which offers support to children, young people, and their parents. We are now looking for two new employees to complement our High-Intensity Team, which currently consists of ten family therapists and one method supervisor.

The High-Intensity Team works on behalf of authority-executing social secretaries, providing qualified psychosocial treatment interventions for families with children and young people aged 0–18. We work with families where there is high anxiety and often complex issues, offering flexible and intensive solutions with the goal of keeping the child at home or reducing the number of days in residential care. The unit also assists with care assessments.

The work is based on various evidence-based methods and takes the form of social pedagogical work, child and youth counseling, parental support, and family therapy. We work in the family's own arenas, primarily in the home. The work also places great emphasis on activating both private and professional networks. The intervention can vary depending on the need, which may involve working early in the mornings and evenings. We have regular process supervision with an external supervisor as well as internal method supervision.

Our High-Intensity Team is in a creative and expansive phase where we are jointly developing the forms of our work. With us, you get the opportunity to contribute to this exciting work!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker (socionom) or have a 3-year social pedagogical education. You need to have experience working with various forms of family therapy, youth work, or parental support, as well as good knowledge of children's and young people's development, needs, and behavioral patterns. It is an advantage if you also have experience with authority-executing work with children and young people. The same applies to experience working with children, young people, or families in residential care.

A significant part of our work involves documentation, which is why it is important that you can express yourself well in speech and writing and have experience with documentation. We document in the program Treserva.

It is an advantage if you are educated in methods directed towards our target group, focusing both on strengthening interaction and developing parenting strategies, for example, FFT, COS-P, ABFT, or CBT-based methods. It is also an advantage if you are educated in MI (Motivational Interviewing) and TMO.

To fit into the role, it is important that you are careful to meet the families in a way that creates a trusting collaboration and motivation for change. You take responsibility for your tasks with the best interests of the operation/clients in focus. You need to be self-reliant, work systematically and methodically, and be able to make your own decisions while having good cooperation skills. You enjoy and see opportunities for change and create situations where new ideas and proposals can be developed. You take your duties seriously, are keen to finish what you have started, and ensure that the work is done correctly. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and have an open and positive attitude, using the client's/user's needs as the starting point for your actions. You have the ability to work together with others and contribute to the whole. You set clear goals and follow up on your interventions to measure the effect of your work.

At our workplace, we strive for diversity to increase the quality of our work and to reflect the population we meet; therefore, we welcome applicants with varying experiences, backgrounds, and language skills.

We hope we have sparked your interest – please send us your application!
