About the role

As a Trainer at Skill Academy, you work closely with our customers in the manufacturing industry, focusing on competence development and training initiatives. The role involves significant customer contact, where you act as a consulting partner, helping companies identify training needs and find the right solutions for their employees.

You develop, plan, and conduct training programs – ranging from basic industrial courses to certification training. An important part of the role is also participating in our apprenticeship programs, where you collaborate with colleagues to design training curricula and deliver parts of the training.

You work closely with Skill's project managers, business area managers, and other trainers to continue developing and strengthening our training operations.

Your main responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and conduct training for industrial customers
  • Work consultatively with customers regarding competence development and training needs
  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Conduct both basic courses and certification training
  • Participate in our apprenticeship programs and training designs
  • Ensure that training content is modern, relevant, and adapted to the target group
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, business area managers, and other trainers
  • Contribute to further developing Skill Academy's training operations and internal working methods

Your profile

You have experience from the manufacturing industry or technical training activities, for example from upper secondary school, university college, or industry-related education. You are confident in customer meetings and thrive in a role where you can combine technology, pedagogy, and relationship building.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have knowledge in several of the following areas:

  • CNC and machining
  • Automation
  • Welding, MIG/MAG, and TIG
  • Basic workshop technology
  • Technical production and industrial processes

Experience in working with education and mentoring within the industry is considered an asset.

As a person, you are independent, communicative, and engaged. You enjoy building trust, collaborating with others, and finding solutions that make a real difference for the customer.
