Adult Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in Uddevalla

We have a need to recruit a social worker/counselor and colleague to our clinic. Our ambition is to offer and create conditions for stimulating, exciting, and interesting work with good development opportunities.

The psychiatric outpatient clinic is seen as the base of the specialist psychiatric activity, where the goal is to investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate in the patient's immediate environment as far as possible. The target group is primarily people who need psychiatric specialist care for conditions such as anxiety disorders, comorbidity (i.e., mental disorder/illness with simultaneous substance abuse/addiction), and investigation and treatment of ADHD. We also provide treatment based on LARO (Opioid Agonist Treatment).

You will join a workplace with well-established colleagues and a good work community. We are divided into teams consisting of doctors, psychologists, social workers/counselors, nurses, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, and secretaries.

Job Responsibilities

Qualified psychosocial investigation work. Assessment and treatment work with individuals, families, networks, and collaboration with other healthcare providers/authorities. The work is both planned and unplanned, individual, and in groups.

Qualifications

You are educated as a social worker. We would prefer that you have completed basic training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) "Step 1". Previous experience within specialist psychiatry and experience leading groups are also meritorious.

You are structured, clear, orderly, and flexible, and have a desire to work and be part of a team. We value qualities such as good social competence, where humor, forward-thinking, and positive thinking are clear merits. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and qualities such as teamwork ability and the ability to work independently. It is meritorious if you are a licensed healthcare counselor or if you become eligible for such a license during the transition period.
