Adult Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in Uddevalla

We have a need to recruit a social worker/counselor and colleague to our clinic. Our ambition is to offer and create conditions for stimulating, exciting, and interesting work with good development opportunities.

The psychiatric outpatient clinic is seen as the base of specialized psychiatric operations, where the goal is, as far as possible, to investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate in the patient's immediate environment. The target group is primarily people who need psychiatric specialized care for, for example, anxiety disorders, dual diagnosis (i.e., mental disorder/illness with simultaneous abuse/addiction), and investigation and treatment of ADHD. We also provide treatment based on Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT/LARO).

You will join a operation with well-established colleagues and a good work community. We are divided into teams consisting of doctors, psychologists, social workers/counselors, nurses, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, and secretaries.

Job Responsibilities

Qualified psychosocial investigation work. Assessment and treatment work with individuals, families, networks, and collaboration with other healthcare providers/authorities. The work is both planned and unplanned, individual, and in groups.

Qualifications

You are educated as a social worker. We would appreciate it if you have completed basic training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) "Step 1". Previous experience within specialized psychiatry and leading groups is also meritorious.

You are structured, clear, organized, and flexible, and have a desire to work and be part of a team. We value qualities such as good social competence, where humor, forward-thinking, and positive thinking are clear merits. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability and qualities such as teamwork skills and the ability to work independently. It is meritorious if you are a licensed healthcare social worker or if you become eligible for such a license during the transition period.
