SallyQ is now looking for an experienced Analytical Specialist for a long-term consultancy assignment with our client in Stockholm. This role is ideal for you if you have extensive experience with PCR-based methods, method development, and quality work in a regulated laboratory environment.

As an Analytical Specialist, you will work with the development, optimization, and implementation of molecular biological analytical methods with a focus on PCR technology. The role combines practical laboratory work with scientific problem-solving and specialist support within the organization.

You will contribute to the development of new methods and techniques, validation of analytical methods, as well as the introduction of new laboratory equipment and automated solutions. The work is carried out in close collaboration with several functions within the business and places high demands on quality, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

• Develop, optimize, and implement PCR-based analytical methods

• Plan, execute, and document method validations

• Contribute to the introduction of new laboratory equipment and automated workflows

• Handle deviations, change controls, and risk assessments according to current quality requirements

• Ensure that operations meet regulatory and quality requirements

• Create, update, and standardize instructions and laboratory documentation

• Act as a specialist support within PCR and molecular biology

• Participate in cross-functional projects and knowledge transfer within the organization

• Academic degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, virology, or a related field

• At least three years of experience in laboratory work within molecular biology

• Documented experience with PCR and method development

• Experience from GMP-regulated operations or another highly regulated laboratory environment

• Experience with validation, quality work, and regulatory requirements

• Good knowledge of laboratory instruments and equipment related to PCR analyses

• Experience with deviation management, change control, and risk analysis

• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
