Job Description

Within the Environment business area, AFRY offers qualified consulting services regarding contaminated sites as well as environment & sustainability. We are a mix of consultants with different areas of expertise working with notification and permit cases, water and air investigations, environmental impact assessments, environmental investigations, environmental technical ground investigations, environmental controls, risk assessments, sustainability, auditing, environmental management, and quality management. Our customers are found in both the private as well as the municipal and public sectors.

We are looking for you who have worked for a few years as an environmental consultant within contaminated sites. The main focus of the role is to work together with project managers or technical managers within contaminated sites, in the role of case handler and/or field handler. Depending on your previous experience, you also have the opportunity to work as a technical manager or project manager. You will work closely with our customers to identify, assess, and manage environmental risks. Business acumen is important, and you will work in assignments from planning to implementation and reporting. We value your ability to collaborate and be flexible. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues both locally and nationally within the field to contribute to creating sustainable solutions for the environment.

To succeed and thrive in your role as a Senior Environmental Consultant, we are looking for you who have:

• A university or college degree in the environmental field, or alternatively a relevant university college education.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• At least 3 years of experience within contaminated sites.
• Experience in case handling and field work.
• Category B driver's license.

We would like you to have experience from infrastructure projects, civil engineering contracts, development assignments, mass handling, sediment, or water quality.

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you are a certified sampler.
