What you will do

As a Junior Chemical Engineer, you will become part of a competent materials team of about ten colleagues, divided into three areas of expertise:

• Rubber
• Painting and surface treatment
• Plastics and bonding

Your initial focus will be on painting and surface treatment, where you will work practically with testing painted and plastic-based components according to established standards. You will, for example, test sheet metal and other items within the company's new painting concept – a task that requires both precision and laboratory experience.

Over time, you will take on greater responsibility, planning, conducting, and analyzing test series yourself. The role also offers collaboration with designers, procurement, and field personnel, providing breadth and variety to your daily work.

Qualifications

• University degree or Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is a plus if you have:

• Previous experience in a laboratory environment
• Knowledge of the Office suite
• Experience working with test chambers

A health check is required before employment begins.
