Beckombergaskolan is a popular school for grades F–6 (preschool class to grade 6), located in a beautiful natural setting on the outskirts of Bromma. The school has approximately 480 students and 70 employees. Here, competent and solution-oriented staff work with great interest and commitment to the students' development and learning. Students, staff, and guardians are happy at our school.

At the school, development work is underway regarding language and knowledge-enhancing working methods, as well as accessible learning environments. Beckombergaskolan is a well-organized school with good routines and working methods.

For the autumn of 2026, we are expanding our operations to include adapted primary school.

Our cross-professional student health team consists of special education teachers, school psychologists, counselors, school nurses, behavioral scientists, and school leadership.

The school has excellent facilities and a fantastic schoolyard that offers opportunities for movement and creative play during breaks and after school hours.

Our school restaurant, Matlunden, has its own kitchen and serves delicious and nutritious food every day.

Your role

We are looking for a teacher who will teach in the preschool class (förskoleklass) during the 2026–2027 school year. You will serve as a mentor for the preschool class students.

You will be part of a work team where you collaborate with colleagues in daily work and are an important part of collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge.

As a preschool class teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for you who have good pedagogical insight, are clear and engaged to bring out the best in the students. You who apply:

• Are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach in preschool class and in the subjects of Swedish and mathematics for younger ages.
• Have documented experience teaching in preschool class and lower primary school.
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with our steering documents. You take responsibility for and have insight into the students' needs, and you structure and adapt your teaching so that a safe and developmental learning environment is created. You develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.

You are secure, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You create good conditions for cooperation and build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
