We are looking for a special needs teacher (specialpedagog) for Minnebergsskolan. Minnebergsskolan is a modern school located in the center of Arvika. It is a lower secondary school adapted to each student's needs. There are safe spaces for recovery, community, activities, and relationship building. Responsibilities

In the role of special needs teacher/specialpedagog, you will be part of a student health team and be responsible for special educational work in a specific grade between 7-9. The assignment involves:

• Close collaboration with the school's work team to meet students' needs by mapping, adapting, and organizing support.
• Providing support to students and maintaining regular contact with the student's guardians and school staff, which means you coordinate the student's schooling.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of special needs teacher, we see that you have:

• Post-secondary education as a special needs teacher/specialpedagog.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is also meritorious if you as a special needs teacher have:

• Several years of work experience as a special needs teacher/specialpedagog.

To succeed in this role as a person, we see that you have good collaboration skills, are self-motivated, and value creating good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Your personal qualities are important to us; we see that you are flexible and creative with a structured approach. You have good pedagogical insight, take initiative, and are solution-focused.
