RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of our colleagues moves on to new challenges, we are now looking for a new employee who wishes to join a competent, experienced, and positive work group.

As a Child Social Worker, you have official authority responsibilities according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU). You are responsible for closely following the child's or young person's placement and ensuring that interventions are carried out in the child's best interest. The role also includes follow-up responsibility for families within our larger home-based solutions involving family therapy. This work is done in close collaboration with the child, the family, and their private networks, as well as with the professional network surrounding the child.

We work in two smaller teams that collaborate closely with family home secretaries. As part of the follow-ups, your duties also include investigations, considerations, and relocations. Our goal is to provide families with support at an early stage and, as far as possible, offer interventions at home. To succeed in this, we have close cooperation with other actors, both within the municipality and externally.

We work according to BBiC. All our social workers are offered training in the Signs of Safety method.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

  • Have a degree in Social Work (Social Work Bachelor's or Master's).
  • Are well acquainted with the Social Services Act.
  • Are engaged and have several years of experience in exercising official authority within various areas of social services, with a special focus on children and young people.
  • Can work independently and flexibly and have good collaboration skills.
  • Have the ability to think innovatively in development work, with a reflective and analytical approach as well as a holistic perspective.
  • Can create participation for the child/young person and their family.
  • Can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you:

  • Have experience of documentation in Life Care and/or Procapita.
  • Have experience of working according to BBIC.
  • Have experience of working with Signs of Safety.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

A valid driving license (Category B) is required.

Welcome with your application!
Do you want to become part of our team and work with important issues in a business where the child's best interest is always in focus? Then we look forward to hearing from you!
