What do we offer?

• We are a well-functioning health centre with permanent doctors and various specialist clinics.
• All registered patients have a designated responsible physician.
• We offer good working conditions.
• We are located in pleasant premises centrally in Värnamo.
• The practice has approximately 7,700 registered patients.

The role of General Practitioner at our clinic involves investigating and treating patients. We work systematically and structured, striving to always offer our patients the best care. Visits can be both planned and urgent.

The role includes supervising medical students and residents (AT/ST doctors), as a key part of our mission is to train tomorrow's healthcare professionals. The job also includes on-call duties at the urgent care centre or as an on-call doctor for home visits. At our centre, you will work in close collaboration with all professions at the clinic and will be an important part of the continuous improvement work and development of the practice.

Our staff includes 3 permanent district doctors and 4 ST-doctors. We also have an occupational therapist, a rehabilitation coordinator, a physiotherapist, and a psychotherapist. We have a well-developed collaboration between doctors and rehabilitation.

Who are we looking for?

• We are looking for you who are trained as a specialist in general medicine and have experience working in primary care.
• You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to view the practice from a holistic perspective with both the patient and the clinic in focus.
• You are stable, flexible, and adaptable to different situations, and you collaborate easily.
• You must have good communication skills to build good relationships with both patients and colleagues. As a person, you are sensitive to our patients' needs, and your interaction is professional and humble.
• Experience and/or interest in supervising AT and ST doctors is meritorious, as this is part of the job duties, as is responsibility for a special housing unit.
