Group housing Lästgränd is located in Gislaved. The operations are for people with disabilities and care needs. The residents in the group housing have decisions according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Disabilities (LSS).

Working hours are scheduled for day/evening/weekends.

Job Responsibilities

Together with other employees, you work to make everyday life meaningful, clear, and rich in content for the residents. You will support and guide the users in personal care, meals, medication management, household maintenance, social contacts, and communication.

An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the users to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time, so they can live like others based on their conditions. Adapt the environment based on the users' needs and conditions. The work is based on individual implementation plans.

The job responsibilities also include IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health care tasks.

Work tools that will be used include: PFA (pedagogical approach and working method), communication aids, picture support, sensory stimulation, and more.

Qualifications

Support Pedagogue: Support Pedagogue education with a focus on the disability area.

Support Assistant: Care and Nursing program with a focus on psychiatry or the disability area, or the Child and Youth program with a focus on social or pedagogical work.

Alternatively: Behavioral scientist, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

Experience regarding the target group is required for the position, as well as the ability to swim and no allergy to chlorine.
