The Role of General Practitioner

As a General Practitioner at Bra Liv Gislaved Health Centre, you are offered an independent position where you have the opportunity to influence your work. The work is varied, involving scheduled and emergency patient visits, supervision of medical students, collaboration with home care services, and opportunities to work at municipal special housing facilities and/or child health services.

We offer you a fun and exciting job close to the public with many contact areas where your competence is valued and stimulated. On-call duties and emergency room shifts at the Urgent Care Centre are included in the position.

Bra Liv Gislaved Health Centre, with fresh and modern facilities in the centre of Gislaved, is in an exciting phase of development. We have approximately 12,900 registered patients and over 50 employees from various professions. The guiding principle of the health centre is the team and interdisciplinary work, with the patient at the centre.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proof of specialist competence and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level).
• Has experience as a General Practitioner and can play a central role in our medical team and the overall operation.
• Has experience supervising medical students and other professions at the health centre.
• Can work independently and with different professional groups.
• Is engaged and responsible and understands the importance of good patient interaction.
• Is flexible and wants to develop and improve the operation together with us.
• Embraces new knowledge, works according to the latest research, and serves as a knowledge resource for colleagues.
• Can adapt your work, interaction, and approach based on the patient and situation.
• Hold a valid Category B driver's license.
• Through good collaboration with management and colleagues, wishes to contribute to creating participation and a good work environment.
