The Role of the Nursing Assistant

As a nursing assistant in surgical departments G and H, you provide security and good care to patients during their stay with us. The duties include providing basic care for patients and, together with other professions, delivering the best possible care! You plan nursing interventions together with a nurse in a structured and safe manner.

Your Future Workplace

We work with pre- and post-operative care, but we are also an emergency care department that receives patients with surgical conditions from the emergency room. We always work with a holistic view of the patient and to increase the patient's participation in their care. The clinic has specialist nurses with great competence in surgery who support the staff, both new and experienced, and above all, our patients.

Your Profile

You are a trained nursing assistant with a burning interest in your work and in care development, where you have the opportunity to develop your medical skills! We would like you to have experience in emergency care or surgery, but this is not a requirement. You must be able to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. All experience from care and social services is meritorious, as is general work experience.

You are good at collaborating with different professions in a team but can also work independently and take initiative in your work. Furthermore, you have good communication skills, are service-oriented, and provide good care to the patient.
