We are now looking for cheerful, accessible, proactive and hardworking hourly substitute staff for the preschools Långsjön, Saltängen, Skogsstigen, Skuru and Utskogen.

Your role

In your role as an hourly substitute, you need to be able to work at one of our preschools with short notice, for both single days and longer periods if needed. You will work at several preschools and with children of different ages. You play, read, sing and draw with the children. You contribute practically by being helpful, for example with dressing and undressing, hand washing, and before, during and after meals. You are active both indoors and outdoors. Together with other competent colleagues, you contribute to a activity that is developmental, educational and fun for every child.

Your experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Ongoing or completed upper secondary or post-secondary education as a preschool assistant (barnskötare).
• Experience working with children in preschools.
• Experience working in healthcare, elderly care or other operations where you have been responsible for others.

To succeed in the role of hourly substitute, it is important that you are an accessible, responsible, hardworking and helpful person who genuinely enjoys working with children. You have an interest in democratic work and norm criticism, and have a value base where everyone's equal value is important. You find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships with children, colleagues and guardians. You listen, relate to others and are compliant.

You have the ability to independently manage, structure and take responsibility for your time and tasks. At the same time, you find it easy to take initiative, find solutions and start activities without waiting for instructions. You know your authority and when you should ask and refer to colleagues. To deliver in the role, it is important that you are flexible, adaptable and reachable. You answer the phone and can quickly and shortly arrive at one of the preschools. You have no problem working at several preschools, departments and with children of different ages.
