Natural Science combined with Mathematics

Tälje Gymnasium is Södertälje Municipality's largest municipal upper secondary school, with approximately 650 students distributed across our various programs: NA, TE, EK, SAM, IB (International Baccalaureate), SPV, and IA (Individual Alternative). We are now looking for an engaged teacher to teach natural science combined with mathematics during the 2026/2027 academic year.

Your responsibilities

• Teach natural science and mathematics on the Social Science program and the Economics program.
• Spark students' curiosity for scientific questions and strengthen their analytical skills.
• Plan and conduct teaching that connects scientific perspectives to current societal issues and students' daily lives.
• Create a safe and motivating learning environment where students develop both academically and personally.
• Work with clear relational leadership that builds trust, study environment, and good relationships with students.
• Shared class mentorship is included in the position.

You are engaged and relationship-building with:

• A clear, warm, and inclusive leadership style in the classroom.
• The ability to build good relationships and motivate students with different prerequisites.
• The ability to make natural science relevant, understandable, and interesting for students on university-preparatory programs.
• The ability to vary teaching to suit different student groups.

Requirements:

• Qualification to teach natural science and mathematics at the upper secondary level.
• Recent experience teaching at the upper secondary level.
• Experience in planning, assessment, and follow-up according to regulatory documents.
