About the role

We are currently looking for an engaged and structured Project Engineer for a contracting company working on infrastructure projects in the Stockholm area. In this role, you will work closely with the site manager and project manager, becoming a key part of the project organization with responsibility for coordination, follow-up, and administration throughout the various phases of the project.

Your future responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you will work broadly with project support within contracting and serve as a vital link between production, project management, and the client. You will contribute to creating structure, monitoring the project's progress and schedule, and ensuring that documentation and financial work maintain high quality. Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting project management and the site manager in daily project work
• Coordinating and following up on schedules, documentation, and project administration
• Working with technical documentation and project diaries
• Handling procurement, supporting documents, and follow-up related to the contracting work
• Creating cost forecasts and financial follow-ups in Excel
• Participating in construction meetings and communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal functions
• Contributing to ensuring quality, working environment, and the overall progress of the project

We are looking for someone who has

An academic education in construction, electrical engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent. You may be relatively new to your career, as long as you have drive, a willingness to learn, and an interest in contracting projects. We would also appreciate if you have:

• Good knowledge of Excel and the rest of the Office package
• Experience from the construction, civil engineering, or contracting industry is an advantage
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Scope: Full-time
• Employment type: Permanent with an initial probationary period
• Other: A security clearance may be required prior to employment, as some of the projects they work on are classified.
