Who are we?

Tamburinens School is located in Klockaretorpet, a creative residential area filled with wonderful students with big dreams for the future. The area is characterized by terraced houses and small woodlands following one another.

Tamburinens School is a F-6 school located beautifully where the trams turn and the oak landscape spreads out. Approximately 260 students meet here during the day for a learning journey towards life and the future. At Tamburinens School, we work in teams that follow the grade levels, where staff with different qualifications, experiences, and competencies work together to support our students.

During the 2024–2025 school year, we began working on creating a common value base, as we recently underwent a merger process with our neighboring school. We have settled on three key words: Safety, Learning, and Responsibility. These will be important to us in our continued work moving forward.

We are now looking for an engaged teacher who wants to work as a substitute in Wood and Metal Craft and Social Studies.

Your responsibilities

As a Teacher in Wood and Metal Craft and Social Studies, you teach students in grades 3–6 and follow them in both practical and theoretical subjects – a perfect combination for you if you enjoy variety.

You will, among other things, plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in Wood and Metal Craft and Social Studies according to Lgr22. You create a safe, creative, and secure learning environment in the craft rooms. You will teach Social Studies in grade 5 and be part of Team 5. You will collaborate closely with the staff in the team as well as other staff at the school. You will also have contact with guardians and participate in the school's development work. In your teaching, you use digital learning tools and assess students' knowledge. Mentoring is also included in the duties.

The position is on-site at the school; our work needs to be done where the students are.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with qualifications in Wood and Metal Craft and Social Studies for grades 3–6. We prefer that you have at least 1–2 years of experience in pedagogical work in primary school.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and are well-versed in the school's steering documents. You are structured, receptive, and clear in your leadership, and you build good relationships with the students.
