Do you want a job where your expertise actually changes lives, while also laughing with colleagues and clients? Do you want to work in social work that is truly meaningful and, at the same time, have great opportunities for personal development? Then I think you should apply for the position of Treatment Coordinator at Boberg HVB.

About Boberg HVB

Boberg HVB is a small, family-like residential care home (HVB) with six places in the countryside outside Borlänge. The unit is aimed at boys aged 10–13 with severe care deficits, trauma, sexual behavioral problems, and often also NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses. Here, you will meet a secure and dedicated work group driven by the desire to make a difference for the children who come to us. We believe in combining high professionalism with a warm heart, and at our place, no day is like the other – but we face every challenge together.

Boberg HVB is part of Humana, a leading actor in healthcare and social care. We work with high quality and evidence-based methods to create a secure and developmental environment for our clients. We have well-established relationships with Humana's support functions within areas such as HR, finance, and quality. We work according to our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life – and our keywords: joy, engagement, and responsibility.

About the Position

As the Treatment Coordinator, you are the red thread in our children's daily lives and the heart of our treatment. Together with treatment pedagogues, coordinators, and the operations manager, you ensure that the children's treatment is conducted in a structured, high-quality, and hopeful manner. You are expected to drive the treatment forward in line with Humana's overall goals and strategies.

We work structurally based on the social services' mandate with individual treatment where each client has their own implementation plan based on their needs. We work in teams where you, together with the contact person/treatment provider and psychologist, collaborate to give the client the best possible treatment based on their conditions and situation. The foundation for a well-functioning treatment is a structured and predictable daily life where the children meet staff and other secure adults who serve as good role models.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that the children's treatment is conducted in a structured and qualitative manner.
  • In consultation with the operations manager, respond to placement requests and make decisions regarding admissions and discharges.
  • Be a secure and inspiring support function/supervisor for employees in our treatment methods.
  • Independently coordinate daily tasks, review, and develop the quality of the operations.
  • Ongoing administrative tasks, such as journal documentation, review of monthly reports, etc.
  • Prepare and revise implementation plans, risk assessments, etc.
  • Collaborate with social services, schools, guardians, and other relevant actors.
  • When necessary, work with the children in the facility with standard HVB tasks.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a secure rock with a solution-oriented focus. You are structured enough to keep track of documentation and the children's treatment, but at the same time flexible enough to handle the unexpected situations that are part of our daily life. You have an easy time building relationships – both with the children and your colleagues – and you act as a clear role model. We are looking for you who spreads positive energy and who believes in people's ability to grow.

We are looking for you who meets the following criteria:

  • Have a degree in social work, behavioral science, or another university-level education that we assess as equivalent.
  • Are proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing.
  • Have good system familiarity (you are not afraid of documentation!).
  • Have a B driver's license.
  • Already have experience in treatment for children and young people.

It is also meritorious if you:

  • Are familiar with CBT, DBT, MI, or other evidence-based methods.
  • Have experience as a manager or coordinator previously.
  • Have an extra eye for quality and documentation work.

Employment Conditions

Working Hours: Weekdays, daytime (varying working hours may occur depending on operational needs).

Employment Degree and Salary: The position is a permanent full-time position (100%). We apply a six-month probation period. Individual salary setting applies; other benefits are according to collective agreements.

Start Date: According to agreement.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document as well as an extract from the criminal record register (HVB).

What happens next?

We would love to hear more about who you are! Send in your application as soon as possible as we interview candidates on an ongoing basis. Welcome to a group that truly makes a difference!
