We are now looking for a licensed occupational therapist to join our dedicated rehabilitation team within ordinary housing in the City of Malmö. Job Responsibilities
As an occupational therapist in the City of Malmö, you will create good conditions for individuals to live as independent, participatory, and meaningful lives as possible. Here, you are part of a team where you collaborate with nurses, physiotherapists, and care staff, and participate in care planning. The work is based on the individual's needs, personal prerequisites, and participation.
As a licensed occupational therapist, you conduct ADL (Activities of Daily Living) assessments and activity assessments, as well as evaluate, plan, and carry out rehabilitative interventions. The role also includes supervising other staff in a rehabilitative approach. As needed, you also assess the living environment, which may include investigating the need for housing adaptations and testing technical assistive devices.
In this role, you have excellent opportunities to plan and take responsibility for how your working days are structured. Most of the time, we cycle to our patients – an excellent way to catch some extra daylight and enjoy being out in the fresh air during the workday.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed occupational therapist (180 ECTS credits)
- Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Is accustomed to using the computer as a work tool and has the ability to quickly familiarize themselves with new programs and systems
- Can cycle
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience from municipal operations
- A B-class driver's license
You have good collaboration skills and contribute through attentiveness, clear communication, and professional handling in meetings with Malmö residents, relatives, and colleagues. With a service-oriented and solution-focused work approach, you drive development forward and actively contribute to creating quality and improvement in the operations.
This role suits you if you are flexible, take initiative, and see opportunities in change. You work in a structured manner with good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work to ensure sustainable and high-quality interventions. You also have cultural awareness and value people's different backgrounds and prerequisites in your work approach and handling.

About the Workplace
Kalkbrottet Rehab is one of seven sections within ordinary housing home care. Here, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation nursing assistants, and caretakers work together. Kalkbrottet Rehab is based at Rudbecksgatan 1, where both the manager and colleagues are available. The workplace is characterized by joy in work, a solution focus, and helpfulness among colleagues.
