We are organized into four work teams that form the core of our operations. The work team has a clear mandate to drive change and development work, and together we create a work environment where engagement, participation, and school development are at the center.

The school is Green Flag certified and works actively with Agenda 2030. We also have a clear focus on movement during the school day, including through an active and inspiring break activity program where even older students lead activities. During the academic year, we have specifically focused on strengthening our special pedagogical competence by making our learning environments accessible in both teaching and after-school care. This is part of our systematic quality work and strengthens the school's entire pedagogical leadership.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in the after-school center at Hästhagenskolan, your role is to support and challenge students in their development towards their full potential. You create accessible and stimulating learning environments where learning engages all senses.

In preparation for the upcoming academic year, we are looking for an engaged teacher in the after-school center for our preschool class team - Year 1 team, with responsibility for physical education for these year groups. The assignment involves actively contributing to students' social development, identity formation, and learning throughout the school day. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching and activities based on the school's steering documents together with other teachers in the after-school center.

The position involves close collaboration within the work team as well as close cooperation with the year group teams at the school to create a holistic approach to each student's schooling.

As a teacher in the after-school center at Hästhagenskolan:

• You work situationally and experience-based, with the ability to adapt teaching to the group's composition and the current situation.
• You collaborate with other teachers in the after-school center to shape good planning and teaching.
• You utilize students' needs, interests, and initiatives as a starting point for creating relevant and stimulating activities.
• You promote students' imagination and interaction through play, movement, creativity, and exploratory approaches, where aesthetic forms of expression are a natural part of teaching.
• You develop an active and inspiring break activity program that creates joy in movement and contributes to students' social, physical, and mental health throughout the school day.
• You provide support in students' daily learning and social contexts, and work for a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel seen and involved.
• You work actively with shaping accessible learning environments and use visual aids in your teaching.

• Show good leadership qualities and have the ability to create security and structure in the student group.
• Easily create and maintain good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Work actively with inclusion and have the ability to meet each student based on their individual needs and prerequisites.
• Are a good team player who contributes to a positive and developing work climate.
• Have an engaged and solution-focused approach where the student's learning and well-being are at the center.
• Have good communication skills and are proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Are creative and practically aesthetically inclined, with an interest in integrating movement, creativity, and sustainability into daily work.
• Work independently but also gladly together with colleagues to develop the operations.

The qualification requirement is that you are a certified teacher in the after-school center with a focus on physical education and health. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
