Then we might be looking for you! The Kyrkskolan unit consists of two primary schools: Kyrkskolan and Balderskolan. Kyrkskolan is a grades F–6 school with approximately 400 students, centrally located in Danderyd. Balderskolan is situated in a quiet residential area in western Danderyd and covers grades F–3 with approximately 200 students.

Here, you will work in a well-functioning team alongside engaged and experienced colleagues. We offer a developing work environment where students are given a stable knowledge base and the opportunity to grow based on their prerequisites.

We are currently looking for several employees:

2 positions at 50% (working in the after-school center in the afternoons)
1 position at 100% (including work in teaching)

Job Responsibilities

Tasks that may be included in your role as a childcare worker are:

Assist students so that the teacher can focus on teaching.
Help students with daily care needs (clothing, hygiene, meals, etc.).
Support the teacher in instruction and assist students in their learning.
Work to ensure the entire class has a sense of security and quiet study environment.
Follow students closely to provide support in their learning and social situations.
Gather information and compile materials regarding the student's social and academic development.
Participate in meetings such as EHK (Early Intervention Team), EHT (Special Educational Needs Team), development conferences, or other meetings regarding students.
Maintain continuous contact with guardians as needed.
Be able to substitute in the classroom in case of the teacher's temporary absence.

You work based on the curriculum goals in Lgr22 and participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the after-school center's pedagogical activities together with your colleagues in the team. As a childcare worker, you support students in their development and ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for someone who:

Is educated as a Childcare Worker or has equivalent education/experience from work within pedagogical activities.
Has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

Several years of experience working in an after-school center or other pedagogical activities.
Experience working with children with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses.
Experience working in an integrated (age-homogeneous) after-school center.

As a person, you are confident in yourself and your role, and you are secure and stable in new contexts where both children and parents find security with you. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
