Resource Person for Functional Support – Primary Placement at Kortebo

We are now looking for a resource person for the functional support area with primary placement at Kortebo. Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with children and young people with disabilities and contribute to a secure, meaningful, and developmental daily life.

The position involves flexible and varied work where you are based at Kortebo but also support other operations within functional support based on the needs of the operations. You will become an important resource in the work of creating quality, continuity, and security for our users.

Kortebo works with short-term supervision and short-term stays according to the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), where every individual is given the opportunity to develop based on their own prerequisites and towards the greatest possible independence. The stay with us should be secure, positive, and something to look forward to.

Kortebo is centrally located in Hjo with proximity to both nature and community. In Hjo Municipality, we value collaboration, development, and joy in work.

Your responsibilities

As a resource person within functional support, you work together with colleagues to create a secure and developmental environment for children, young people, and adults with varying degrees and forms of functional impairment. The tasks vary depending on the needs of the operations but include among other things:

  • working based on individual implementation plans and the needs of the users
  • working with social documentation and implementation plans
  • working pedagogically and methodologically based on evidence-based approaches
  • collaborating with guardians, schools, and other cooperating partners
  • contributing to operational development and improvement work
  • participating in daily chores such as cooking, shopping, and cleaning
  • performing health and medical tasks in accordance with self-care certificates and delegation

The work is social, varied, and mobile – it suits you who enjoy working closely with children and young people and want to make a concrete difference in daily life.

Working hours vary between day and evening as well as every other weekend. You are expected to be flexible and available for work at all units within functional support within the framework of the Working Hours Act, even if your primary placement is at Kortebo.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is secure, responsible, and has a professional and respectful approach. You have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and can adapt to different situations and the needs of operations.

You have:

  • at least upper secondary education within care and nursing, child and youth care, pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems relevant.
  • experience working with children with disabilities
  • good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Category B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have experience working with children according to LSS as well as knowledge within social documentation and low-affective handling.
