About the position
As an administrator at the Health and Medical Care Unit, you play a vital role in keeping the operations running smoothly. You will work closely with our two unit managers. Your workday will include classic administrative tasks such as scheduling, handling sick leave notifications, orders, and invoice processing, as well as more spontaneous tasks like helping colleagues with practical matters when needs arise. This means your workdays will be varied, and you must be prepared to reschedule and tackle whatever comes up.
Examples of duties:
- Independently perform administrative tasks and provide administrative support and service to the operations.
- Work with staffing and scheduling in the scheduling system Medvind.
- Process invoices and orders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work and document in the operational systems in use.
- Be familiar with and adhere to the organization's current laws, policies, and routines.
About the workplace
The Health and Medical Care Unit belongs to the Social Services Administration's area of Care and Support. We deliver health and medical care services to patients in Örebro Municipality with decisions under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The patients are within the Functional Support area, where nurses and occupational therapists work with group and service housing, psychiatry, day activities, personal assistance, and children's housing. In total, there are approximately 45 employees at the unit. The staff consists of nurses, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, administration (an administrator and a coordinating nurse), and two unit managers.
We are located centrally in the west at Tegelgatan 1-3.

Qualifications
In the role of administrator, you need to be service-oriented, meaning you have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. You find it easy to collaborate with others and always provide a good reception. We believe you are a fan of order and structure as you are careful and organized. Taking personal responsibility within your area of work and having a flexible approach are second nature to you. Furthermore, you must master the Swedish language to a level that allows you to communicate with patients and colleagues, as well as document what the operations require.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
- Upper secondary education or vocational higher education (YH) in a field relevant to the position, such as administration, economics, or care and support.
- Experience with administrative tasks.
- Experience with scheduling and/or staffing.
- Experience with the operational system Medvind or a similar scheduling system.
- Experience with the operational system Raindance or a similar financial system.
Merits:
- Experience working as an administrator in care and support or functional support.
- Experience working as an administrator in Örebro Municipality.
- Experience and good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Experience with the operational systems Personec and W3D3.
Scope and start date
Employment type: Permanent position
Working hours: 100%
Start date: By agreement
Number of positions: 1
Working time: Daytime, Monday-Friday
