The Administrative Department within the Swedish Customs Service is responsible for premises, vehicles, clothing, office and business services, as well as procurement, finance, security, and preparedness. The department consists of management support and five national units, where Business Services is one of the units.

 

The Business Services unit consists of approximately 35 employees located in various places across the country, primarily in Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg. The Business Services unit is led by a unit manager and has unit support consisting of business coordinators, business developers, and three responsible managers in a geographical division: south, west, and east/north.

Business Services has portfolio management with a Facility Management service offering that includes, among other things, the administration of the agency's premises, vehicles, clothing, protection of property, and service cards. The unit develops, administers, provides, and secures the operational needs for purposeful and efficient business services. The unit also has important responsibilities and tasks related to heightened readiness and special incidents.

The East team consists of 10 employees and a area manager.

About the position

In this role, we are looking for a service-oriented and responsible person for our customer reception. You are our face to the outside world, playing a crucial role in the customer experience where you meet both internal and external customers. The role includes, among other things, handling mail and packages, registering visitors, and other operational as well as administrative tasks.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Completed upper secondary education with passing grades in Swedish, English, and Mathematics
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in service occupations
  • Very good knowledge of the Office package
  • Very good ability to communicate and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
  • Good habit of independently organizing and planning administrative routines
  • Swedish driver's license, at least class B for passenger car, manual, and good driving experience
  • Good physical condition as the work can be physically demanding
  • Swedish citizenship

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience in operational purchasing
  • Experience working with case management systems
  • Experience working with invoice processing and financial follow-up
  • Experience in property management, vehicle handling, protection of property, and service cards

Employment type: The position is a permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period, and individual salary setting applies.
