Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and identify what needs to be done.

We are currently looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Willing to work for a 17-year-old girl living in Knivsta
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Valid B-driver's license
• Access to your own car
• Tolerant of pets
• Experience with using a lift

The following qualifications are a plus:

• Experience in similar work
• Experience with CP (Cerebral Palsy)
• Experience with tube feeding

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment percentage of approximately 80-85%. Working hours are scheduled for evenings and weekends.

Start date: According to agreement.

Working at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police record before any potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
