About the position

We at Bonzi are looking for new colleagues who want to work as a personal assistant for our client living in Gröndal.

Responsibilities:

• Support in daily routines and household chores
• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals
• Practical support at home and in everyday activities
• Lifting may be required during transfers

The position involves shifts scheduled as follows, both weekdays and weekends:

• 09:00–17:00
• 17:00–09:00 sleeping on-call (waiting time 8 hours)

About the client

The client is a woman in her 40s who needs your help as an assistant in her daily life due to her MS symptoms.

There is a dog in the home, so you must like animals and not be allergic. Manual transfers are involved, so physical strength is a requirement.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has the ability to put the individual's needs first. You are empathetic, socially aware, and have a genuine commitment to creating safety and quality in daily life.

To thrive in this role, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to the client's daily condition and needs. You have a good sense of when to take initiative and when to step back and give space. We appreciate that you are solution-focused, responsible, and able to act independently without waiting for instructions when the situation requires it.

Personal maturity is highly valued, and we appreciate that you are confident, reliable, and professional in your role as a personal assistant.

Your task is to be a support in daily life, always with respect, care, and sensitivity to the individual's needs and wishes.

Requirements:

• Not allergic to fur-bearing animals (there is a dog in the home)
• Experience working as a personal assistant or within healthcare and social care

Scope: 2 positions with varying part-time percentages (25–75%), plus 1 substitute as needed.

Start date: Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Because the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you wish to work with children and young people under 18, you must provide a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). It is important to order these extracts well in advance, as the Police's processing time may vary. Due to a legislative change effective March 1, 2026, the background check is expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register.
