About the Department

The Gynecology Clinic at Skåne University Hospital Kristianstad is a specialist clinic within the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. We offer gynecological specialist care, reproductive health, abortion services, as well as follow-up and support for patients who have been subjected to sexual abuse. Here, doctors, midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries work in close collaboration to create safe, professional, and accessible care.

About the Workplace

Kristianstad Central Hospital (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northeastern Scania. Here, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified staff and approximately 2,600 dedicated employees. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the proximity and cohesion of a smaller hospital. The hospital offers residents in the catchment area care with short waiting times in all specialties.

Responsibilities

In your role as a nurse with us, you will work with the reception of patients with gynecological complaints. You will actively participate in the planning and implementation of our outpatient surgeries. The role includes assisting at doctor's appointments and working within the abortion service; you will also become part of our oncology team. You are also expected to actively participate in improvement work and the development of the clinic's routines to ensure high-quality and safe care.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. It is a requirement that you have Swedish language skills of at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, as well as basic IT skills. Experience of gynecological care is meritorious. It is also an advantage if you have experience with the medical record systems Orbit, PASiS, and Melior.
