Land Survey Authority (Lantmäteriet) is seeking you with strong civic engagement – Customer Support Specialist for Geodata
The Land Survey Authority (Lantmäteriet) is the agency responsible for mapping Sweden. Our tasks also include registering and securing the ownership of all real estate properties and managing their boundaries. We are now looking for you who have a strong commitment to society.
In order for houses, bridges, and roads to be built, knowledge of Sweden's geography and real estate is required. By mapping reality and providing current information about the country's topography and infrastructure, you contribute to the foundation of a sustainable and functioning society.
About the Role
2 positions available.
We are now looking for a Customer Support Specialist who will become an important part of our support group. In this role, you will support Lantmäteriet's end-users with questions regarding our geodata products. Initially, you will work primarily with support issues concerning aerial images and height data, and over time, you will have the opportunity to broaden your competence to more product areas.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts and permissions for Lantmäteriet's various products.
- Evaluating product orders to ensure that usage complies with current legislation, especially regarding personal data and data protection (GDPR).
- Making decisions regarding customers' right to access the ordered products.
The work is carried out via telephone, email, and Lantmäteriet's various internal systems.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience of how aerial images and/or height data are used in society. It is an advantage if you have insight into collection methods for image and height data, as well as experience with GIS, as this occurs in some work tasks.
Experience with technical solutions, such as working with APIs, is also an advantage, as an increasing number of support questions concern the service interfaces of our geodata services.
Requirements and Merits:
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in customer support is an advantage.
- Insight into or understanding of the Real Estate Register Act (FRL) and the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is an advantage.
