About the Company

Bollnäs Energi AB is a municipally owned energy company that produces and distributes district heating and generates electricity in Bollnäs Municipality. The company also operates an open fiber network and delivers broadband to households and businesses in the area. Operations include heating plants in Bollnäs, Arbrå, Kilafors, and Rengsjö, with a focus on sustainable and local energy supply. Today, we have approximately 30 employees and are continuing to expand our operations.

Do you want to work in a technical environment where you can combine business acumen, technology, and supplier collaborations? We are now looking for an engaged and driven Technical Buyer who temporarily wants to step into a role where you will strengthen and support the purchasing function.

Your Responsibilities

As a Technical Buyer with us, you have both an operational and strategic role where you are responsible for the procurement of technical components, materials, and services. You work closely with production, distribution, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality purchases with high delivery security.

Other tasks included in the role:

• Negotiate and manage contracts/delivery terms
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Participate in improvement and development projects
• Collaborate with other departments regarding environmental issues affecting operations

Additionally, there is an opportunity to work with project management if you have the interest and competence.

You will be employed by Clockwork as a consultant and work on-site at our client, Bollnäs Energi. The assignment starts in August and runs through the turn of the year (with possible extension or employment based on needs).

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience in technical purchasing or a similar role that we consider equivalent, as well as experience working with LOU (Swedish Public Procurement Act) or LUF. You have a good understanding of reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, and possess good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

To fit the role, you have strong negotiation skills and are business-minded. You are methodical and structured in your approach and independently drive tenders forward. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate and communicate with others as you have many contact points both internally and externally. Solving problems comes naturally to you, and you see opportunities rather than obstacles.

It is meritorious if you have worked within the public sector and if you have experience in contract law. If you have post-secondary education in purchasing, technology, or economics, and experience or knowledge of the Environmental Code, this is a plus.

A B-class driver's license is a requirement as travel within the municipality occurs.
