Are you our new Sales Assistant at 13%? We are looking for a service-oriented salesperson who wants to strengthen our team during the store's most intensive periods. You are motivated by achieving sales targets and providing customers with a world-class experience. This role is ideal for someone with another primary commitment, such as studies, and the work is primarily performed every other weekend, as well as evenings and peak seasons.

As a Sales Assistant, you will become one of our key salespeople during the store's busiest times. With the customer in focus, you will actively drive sales, create positive customer experiences, and support the team in achieving the store's sales goals. In the workshop, you combine practical work with sales by offering top-quality service, assembly, and repairs. You view the workshop as an extension of the sales process where you identify customer needs, recommend the right solutions, and contribute to increased upselling through close collaboration with the rest of the store.

What you will be working with

Sales and Customer Service

• Actively engage with customers and contribute to sales on the shop floor
• Provide excellent and professional service, ensuring customers find the right products
• Contribute to meeting daily and weekly sales targets through proactive selling
• Use product knowledge to guide customers and recommend relevant products and upselling opportunities
• Contribute to campaigns, seasonal activities, and prioritized sales areas

Workshop and Store Operations

• Perform assembly, service, repair, and maintenance of products such as bicycles, skis, and other sports equipment according to XXL's service standards
• Ensure that all workshop tasks are carried out safely, correctly, and on time
• Keep the workshop organized, clean, and in line with current health and safety regulations
• Register and follow up on service cases according to store procedures
• Check and maintain tools, materials, and spare parts to ensure daily operations
• Maintain store standards and ensure good product presentation
• Perform daily routines so that the store is clean, organized, and ready for sales
• Restock goods, check prices, and execute campaigns
• Assist with goods deliveries, unpacking, and organization in the warehouse
• Work at the checkout when needed and follow current procedures
• Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe and well-organized work environment

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with colleagues across different departments in the store
• Participate in meetings, training, and store activities
• Share knowledge and contribute to colleagues' development
• Contribute to a positive work environment and team spirit
