Description

Hedeskogen Nedre is a group home in Tanumshede comprising one residential place. Here, we continuously work on safety, treatment, and participation with a high focus on development and quality. We are looking for you who want to work with providing support and help in daily life to people with physical and mental disabilities. Job Responsibilities

From a social-pedagogical and creative perspective, we work to provide support and help in daily life. We offer social interaction and contribute to a meaningful and active leisure time for people with disabilities. The work is based on individual needs and should contribute to independence according to one's own prerequisites. We work with contact person assignments, ongoing documentation, and implementation plans. We use clear communication pedagogy (AKK) and low-affective treatment.

The position has scheduled working hours, and the majority of the work is scheduled for evenings and weekends, including night shifts.

Qualifications

The educational requirement is the Care and Nursing Program with the courses "Social Pedagogy" and "Special Pedagogy 2", or the Child and Youth Program with a focus on social work with the courses "Basic Care and Nursing", "Special Pedagogy 1", and "Special Pedagogy 2". In addition, passing grades in Swedish 1 and Social Studies at the upper secondary level are required. Alternatively, other education assessed by the employer as equivalent.

Education and experience from working with people with functional variations and/or neuropsychiatric functional variations are required. We expect you to have experience with social documentation and good computer skills. You need to have a good ability to handle difficult situations while maintaining a strong belief in people's ability to change and develop. The position may be recruited on an ongoing basis. Driver's license, category B, is required.

Conditions

For those offered the position, a certificate of good conduct from the Swedish Police Authority is required according to the Act on Register Checks.

The position is a permanent full-time position (100%) with the possibility to work up to full-time hours. Start date according to agreement. Probation period may be applied for a maximum of six months.
