About the role

As a consultant through us, you will become part of a tight-knit team at our client, HSB Stockholm – a member-owned organization that has worked for over 100 years to create safe and sustainable living environments. The assignment involves supporting housing cooperative boards and residents with the administration of their housing, both at the individual and cooperative level.

Here you step into a role characterized by significant personal responsibility and self-leadership, where you plan and prioritize your own daily routine. HSB's operations are based on the value system ETHOS (Engagement, Security, Sustainability, Care, and Collaboration), which means you are expected to act professionally, thoughtfully, and solution-oriented in every unique customer meeting. Together with your fellow administrators and area manager, you ensure that customers' agreements are followed and that the service desk is always welcoming and staffed during agreed opening hours.

This is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at HSB. The assignment is initially for 3 months over the summer, but there is an opportunity for extension.

Responsibilities

The assignment involves supporting the board of a housing cooperative with the administration of a housing unit, both for the individual and for the cooperative.

  • Process incoming cases from boards, residents, and authorities via telephone and case management systems according to established routines and processes.
  • Handle ongoing apartment administration such as mortgage notifications, transfers, rental agreements, subletting permissions, and billing to residents.
  • Actively work on updating routines and customer information in the case management system and support customers with HSB's digital services.
  • Work proactively to identify customer needs, build good relationships, and ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure that case handling meets agreed processing times regulated by SLA.
  • Actively participate and contribute to joint development activities regarding internal improvements and changes.
  • Follow current policies and guidelines and contribute to maintaining common occupational health and environmental certifications.
  • Note: Evening meetings may occur in this role.

We are looking for you who

  • Have completed upper secondary education.
  • Have at least one year of experience in telephone and case handling.
  • Have experience independently driving cases and having direct customer contact.
  • Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Post-secondary education in economics, law, real estate, or commercial premises.
  • Experience from the real estate industry, with a focus on service and customer contact.
  • Experience with board work in a housing cooperative (BRF).
  • High digital maturity and good habit of working in parallel in different digital systems (e.g., Office package, property systems, and case management systems).
