Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management

We are looking for two course administrators, working 40–50% of full-time, to provide teaching support and administration within the undergraduate education at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management.

A part-time position as a course administrator offers the opportunity to combine work with studies in the final stages of your education, such as a thesis project, or to combine it with job seeking after graduation. The role provides in-depth knowledge of the courses you are involved in, practical work experience within academia, and pedagogical experience.

About the job

The responsibilities include course administration for various courses at the department, assisting in teaching activities, and acting as a support for students and course coordinators. You will collaborate closely with different course leaders and serve as a link between students and the teaching staff.

Your background

Eligible candidates are students who have recently graduated or are in the final stages of their education at the Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Tree Production (LTV).

Requirements for the position:

  • Communication and collaboration skills, independence, organizational ability, engagement, and pedagogical curiosity.
  • Knowledge of landscape architecture methods for analysis, construction, design, communication, and visual representation, both analog and digital.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Merits:

  • Good knowledge of woody plants (lignoses), perennials, and soil science.
  • Good skills in academic writing.
  • Good skills in digital tools, primarily ArcGIS and AutoCAD.

Location: Alnarp

Employment type: Fixed-term employment during the period 24 August 2026 to 17 January 2027, or as agreed.

Extent: 40–50%. Working hours may vary between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Start date: 24 August 2026, or as agreed.
