Your role

As a parental advisor, you provide advice and support regarding issues related to parenthood. The work is based on a systemic theoretical foundation with the whole family in focus. We offer the parental support programs ABC, KOMET, På Rätt Väg, and Föräldraskap i Sverige. We also participate in and lead other types of groups in collaboration with other actors, such as open preschools, Child Health Care (BVC), and Maternal and Child Health Care (BMM).

Responsibilities include, among other things:

• Conducting home visits in an extended home visit program in collaboration with Child Health Care (BVC).
• Conducting individual conversations with parents, leading groups, and collaborating with relevant actors.

Your competence and experience

For this role, you are required to have:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Work) or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position.
• Experience working with parental support.

The following qualifications are considered meritorious:

• Training in parental support programs such as ABC and KOMET.
• Experience of collaboration in work.

We are looking for someone who is stable in their professional role and capable of working independently. You are flexible in your work and have good teamwork skills. Furthermore, you have an easy time creating and maintaining relationships and possess good communication skills.

Other information

• The position is a temporary contract until December 31, 2026.
• Some evening work may occur during parent meetings or parent groups.
• A police certificate (extract from the criminal record) will be requested before employment becomes active.
