About Us

The Youth Clinics are an accessible service for young people up to the age of 24. All our clinics are HBTQ-certified, and we strive for diversity, welcoming all applicants regardless of background.

The Youth Clinic in Borås is the main clinic in an area that also includes clinics in Bollebygd, Mark, Svenljunga, Ulricehamn, and Tranemo. The clinics collaborate closely with each other and hold joint workplace meetings, supervision, and training. Together, we form an interdisciplinary team consisting of midwives, counselors, psychologists, assistant nurses, nurses, and doctors. We work in a person-centered manner with young people's mental, sexual, and social health, meeting each young person based on their individual needs and conditions.

About the Role

The role of a counselor at the Youth Clinic involves psychosocial work where the young person is always at the center, and interventions are based on young people's needs and wishes. You offer counseling for mild mental health issues using evidence-based methods. Together with other staff, you also participate in the clinic's outreach and health-promoting work, where we, among other things, meet school classes at the middle and upper secondary school levels. A central part of the assignment is collaboration with other actors, such as schools, social services, and neighboring healthcare providers, to provide as cohesive support as possible.

About You

We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker and preferably have previous experience working with young people. It is an advantage if you are a licensed healthcare counselor, and we view positively if you have a basic psychotherapy education with a focus on CBT.

As a person, you are independent, flexible, and have an easy time collaborating with different professions and partners. You have a genuine interest in young people's life situations and are driven by making a difference for young people during an important period of their lives.

Conditions

You will have your main placement at the Youth Clinic in Borås, but you may also serve at our other clinics in the area. The position also includes some evening shifts.

Interviews are planned for Monday, June 22nd, and Tuesday, June 23rd.
