Grosvadsskolan is a 7–9 school with approximately 375 students, divided into 14 classes. The school is located in the center of Finspång, with nature just outside the door. The school consists of two connected building blocks and has a passage leading to the swimming hall, sports, and leisure facilities.

The school has about sixty employees distributed across three year-level teams. You will be part of one of these work teams.

What can we offer you?

As a student assistant, you will work in the classroom, in small groups, and/or individually with students in grades 7–9 who are in need of extra support and adaptations. Your task is to support the students in their learning, in social interaction, and with daily routines based on their individual needs. The work is carried out in close collaboration with teachers, student health services, and other staff.

Your future responsibilities

As a student assistant, you work to provide support to one or more students in grades 7–9 in both learning and social development. You are present during lessons, breaks, and other activities throughout the school day.

You are a key adult who contributes to creating a safe, structured, and positive environment for the students. You collaborate closely with teachers, other staff, and student health services.

The role also involves

An engaged and professional attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues. Since your tasks are varied, you need to be open to adapting your work. You take initiative and can work independently. You should be interested in providing good care and supporting teaching, thereby encouraging students' development and learning. We are looking for you who have relevant education for the role. Previous experience working in schools and with children and young people is a plus.

Advantageous qualifications:

  • Courses in NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), interaction, conflict management, or communication
  • Education in pedagogy or social work

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
