We are looking for you who want to work part-time as an economic/social services case worker with us during the autumn of 2026. The role suits you if you are studying to become a social worker or are a newly graduated social worker and want to build valuable work experience while developing within the field.
The position is located in the Unit for Administration and Economics within the Division for Disability, Social Psychiatry, and Elderly Care.
Your role
As an economic case worker, you will strengthen our economic group, which today consists of six economic/fee case workers and one business controller. The group has broad competence, and all are social workers with previous experience working as social services case workers.
Your main tasks will be to work with fees and economic issues within the areas of disability, social psychiatry, and elderly care. The tasks include, for example, processing initial fee decisions, applications for extended reservation amounts, and applications for sick pay compensation in personal assistance. Other tasks related to the assignment may also occur.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who have:
- A degree in social work or ongoing studies in the social work program.
- Good computer skills.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Unit for Administration and Economics
The Unit for Administration and Economics is a unit within the authority side of the Division for Disability, Social Psychiatry, and Elderly Care. The unit was established on April 1, 2025.
The unit is led by a unit manager and consists of administrative assistants, social services case workers, economic case workers, business controllers for economics, and business controllers for follow-up of Social Services Act (SoL) and Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS).
The unit's main task is to provide support in administrative and economic processes to the authority-operating operations within the division. Some administrative support is also provided to other parts of the division. The work includes, among other things, administrative support, invoice management, fee management, economic follow-ups, operation follow-ups, contract follow-ups, as well as processing of travel services, national travel services, municipal housing supplement for persons with disabilities, sick pay compensation within personal assistance, and security alarms for residents under 65 years who do not have other interventions.
