About the Role

As a chef at Vildmarkshotellet, you will primarily work with Swedish-grown and organic ingredients of the highest quality. You will handle all tasks typical in a large restaurant kitchen, and together with your colleagues, you will create extraordinary culinary experiences. We are a strong team that makes each other better, driven by passion and love for cooking.

At Vildmarkshotellet, we offer varied work with opportunities for development. We have two restaurants on the hotel: Terassen, an à la carte restaurant, and our new themed restaurant, "Bamse's Magical Food Adventure." Additionally, we host certain corporate events in the zoo where food is the center, and you will cook together with our guests. You will receive a thorough introduction to our working methods, routines, and culinary philosophy.

About You

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in cooking and a service-oriented mindset. You thrive in a team characterized by professional and cheerful collaboration, where you take personal responsibility for contributing to a positive atmosphere. Since the pace in our restaurants is often fast, you are flexible and solution-focused in your work approach. You maintain a positive attitude and are a natural team player who helps out when needed. Furthermore, you work independently and are eager to take initiative.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a chef and feels confident in their craft.
• Has at least 1 year of experience from an à la carte kitchen.
• Is at least 18 years old.

Education in the restaurant industry is an advantage but not a requirement. It is an advantage if you have a B-driver's license and access to a car, so you can easily commute to and from work even during inconvenient hours such as late evenings and weekends.

Employment Terms

The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probation period. The position is covered by a collective agreement between Visita and HRF. Individual salary setting according to agreement.
