About the Role

We are looking for a personal assistant for a 38-year-old man with an acquired brain injury. He lives alone in a house outside of Norrtälje and requires 24/7 assistance. The job involves staying active and creative together with him. The role entails supporting and helping with various tasks, including meals, personal hygiene, communication, and more.

The work includes days filled with laughter and fun, but also situations where your role is to prevent and manage frustration and challenging behaviors. Therefore, it is important that you are always attentive to his well-being and can adapt to different environments.

Assisting with interpreting, explaining, and mediating the surroundings is an important part of the job. The position also involves supporting him with all daily chores, including all household tasks. Once a week, he participates in day activities, which the personal assistant accompanies him to.

Double assistance is also used, making good cooperation with colleagues very important.

About You

Previous experience working in personal assistance and experience with challenging behaviors is advantageous. A requirement is that you have the ability to read situations and the client's well-being and act accordingly.

You need to be in good physical health as the client is active and spends a lot of time outdoors. Working hours vary, and shifts are scheduled for days, afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends. We work on a rotating schedule. We are looking for both those who want to work more continuously and those who want a supplementary job.
