Töcksfors School is a grades F-6 school with approximately 190 students who have the opportunity to grow and develop in a secure and inspiring environment. In addition to primary school, we offer preschool class and after-school care for school-age children.

Our modern and well-equipped facilities contribute to a learning environment where both students and staff thrive. The newly built section for grades F-3 has just been completed, and the facilities for grades 4-6 were ready in 2019. Here, you will meet a dedicated team and an operation characterized by community, learning, and continuous development.

At Töcksfors School, we actively work on student well-being, influence, and goal achievement. The school day starts at 08:00, and we meet regularly at workplace meetings where we focus on clear themes for the school's development. Our pedagogical planning and our work are based on an ambition to always improve and adapt the operation to meet our students' needs.

We are proud of our well-functioning support system that quickly identifies students' needs and provides support early. The organization includes special education teachers, special needs pedagogues, counselors, and school nurses, and through the student health service, we also have access to school psychologists and school doctors.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for staff members for the Töcksfors after-school program. You will work in the after-school center planning, implementing, and evaluating activities based on the after-school curriculum. The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues and is characterized by teamwork where we support each other in daily life.

You play an important role in building secure and positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Part of the assignment may also involve working in the preschool class as a support during parts of the day.

As a staff member, you are expected to be a secure and clear adult and a good role model for the students. You collaborate closely with mentors in the preschool class and other colleagues to work towards the school's common vision and goals.

At Töcksfors School, you will become part of a positive and dedicated team that values collaboration and collegial support.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education as a teacher in after-school programs/after-school pedagogues or other pedagogical education. Even you who are trained as childcare workers are welcome to apply, if you have experience and a strong interest in working in after-school activities and with children's development.

You have good ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, solution-focused work climate. You are flexible, take initiative, and have a professional approach in meeting both students and colleagues.

You have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, which is important for communication with students, guardians, and colleagues, as well as for contributing to the operation's documentation.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
