Welcome to us

We are now looking for a SIP Coordinator (Samordnad Individuell Plan) to cover a one-year vacancy while the permanent employee tries out another assignment. As a SIP Coordinator, you will be responsible for increasing knowledge about coordinated individual plans both internally and externally, and supporting employees in collaboration processes. You will also work on developing collaboration with the district's primary schools together with the district school social worker.

The Children and Young People area is part of the Social Services Department and is responsible for applications, investigations, and interventions for the target group. The unit is organized into a children's unit (0-12 years), a children and youth unit (0-20 years), a youth unit (13-20 years), a family care unit, and a family law unit. Approximately 50 employees work within the area.

The area strives to create a cohesive social services system together with the department's other areas, where we work integrated to always keep children, young people, and their parents in focus.

The work groups are engaged and keen on doing professional social work. Södermalm also has a school coordinator tasked with planning and following up on placed children to ensure school attendance. The area also has an ongoing recruitment process for a SIG Coordinator. The district has very good collaboration between the police, preschools, and schools, which is something we cherish and continue to develop on all levels.

Your role

As a SIP Coordinator, you have a key role with us and are an important part of the Social Services Department's leadership.

Your role includes, among other things:

  • Develop and coordinate the area's work around SIP.
  • Educate employees in the SIP process and hold workshops on various themes in collaboration.
  • Assist employees with support in complex processes.
  • Develop collaboration with the city's primary schools.
  • Assist the area's leadership group in the work with BUS collaboration.
  • Hold consultation meetings together with the region and schools/preschools.
  • Be responsible for the implementation of network-based work together with colleagues with system-theoretical competence.

Your competence and experience

You will become an important resource in the area's continued development work. This includes, for example, analyzing results from various surveys and measurements, as well as contributing to goal achievement by highlighting good ideas from employees and implementing changes in operations. The operations are characterized by constant development, which means that the role may change over time.

This is a varied and enriching assignment, where the pace can sometimes be high. This is a job for you who enjoy working with public authority duties, in an operation that is under development.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have:

  • A degree in Social Work (Social Worker)
  • Extensive experience in public authority duties within the children and young people area.
  • Knowledge of the LUL (Care of Young Persons Special Provisions Act) and the Social Services Act.
  • Experience working with coordinated individual plans.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience speaking in front of larger groups and holding workshops.
  • Experience working in schools or the region.
  • Experience with network work.
  • Experience working as a method supporter or in a coordinating role.

Your personal qualities

We are looking for you who want to work in a structured and strategic manner, focusing on developing operations and conducting quality development work.

You who apply are meticulous, goal- and result-oriented, and have an easy time expressing yourself in speech and writing.

To achieve a cohesive and integrated social service in Södermalm, it is important that you are collaboration-oriented, have a holistic perspective, and can view issues from different perspectives.

You need to be diplomatic and have the ability to create good relationships, make different parties feel heard, and be able to move the dialogue forward even when needs and expectations look different.

Great importance will be attached to personality suitability. An extract from the criminal record may be requested.
