FEVA in Malmö launched in September 2025, and since then, we have grown into an engaged team of 16 employees who are building upon the foundation we have laid together.

Patients arrive here for surgery or treatment from various departments, primarily from surgery, orthopedics, and urology. Patients travel from home to the hospital on the same day as their surgery/treatment. After the procedure and post-operative monitoring, some patients go home from FEVA, while most are admitted to inpatient care afterwards.

In 2025, we moved into completely new, fresh premises at the New Hospital in Malmö. This gives us the opportunity to provide care in state-of-the-art facilities with the human being at the center, offering a work environment with excellent conditions.

Job Description

We are looking for three nurses who want to continue developing our new department, FEVA, in Malmö!

As a nurse here, you work pre-operatively and post-operatively with patients who come from home on the same day. Pre-operative tasks include receiving and identifying patients prior to procedures/surgery. You perform pre-operative checks such as blood tests, IV lines, vital parameters, and medication management according to orders and established guidelines developed together with the responsible clinical department.

Post-operative tasks include monitoring the patient's recovery after surgery and post-operative observation. You document the patient's status and actions in the medical record and ensure a safe discharge for the patient.

In your role as a nurse, you help build and develop the new unit together with other staff and collaborate with the treating clinical departments.

Our operations run between 06:30 and 19:30, Monday to Thursday, and between 06:30 and 18:00 on Fridays.

Qualifications

We welcome you if you are a licensed nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 on the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. Previous experience in pre- and post-operative care is meritorious. Additionally, we view experience in operational and/or personnel planning as advantageous. Knowledge of the systems Orbit and Melior is considered a plus.
