RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teaching assistant, you work closely with teachers and students to contribute to a safe, structured, and well-functioning school day. The role is varied and includes both pedagogical support, administrative tasks, and practical work.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to safety and study environment by supporting students during the school day, for example during pedagogical meals, during lessons, and in various care situations.
• Practical support in teaching, such as preparing lesson materials, organizing classrooms and learning environments, and helping with simple grading and documentation.
• Management of consumable materials and learning aids, including ordering, unpacking, and organizing materials.
• IT-related tasks, such as preparing digital work environments, contacting IT support, and updating software and digital tools.
• Support in mentoring and student follow-up by reporting absenteeism, communicating with guardians, and participating in work regarding problematic school absenteeism if necessary.
• Participate in the work with extra adjustments and special support by supporting students in using aids and contributing to the development of support materials and adjustments based on students' needs.

Start date according to agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a high school diploma in child and youth care or other education that the employer considers equivalent and relevant. Experience working with children and students in groups is desirable. Experience from preschool, school, leisure center, and/or other operations where you have been a leader for children's groups is meritorious. You should have good social skills, be flexible, self-initiating, responsible, and have a good attitude towards colleagues, students, and guardians. We see that you have good communicative skills and proficiency in the Swedish language in speech and writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
