About the Position
Hello! Are you our new colleague?
We are now looking for a resource teacher/support staff member for Fjälldalen Preschool.
Fjälldalen Preschool is a preschool with six sections where nature and the mountain are close by, opened in January 2025. We are looking for you who want to join a wonderful group of colleagues and work as a resource in a work team. In the preschool, we meet our children in their first education and their first steps in lifelong learning, and as a resource, you are important. Responsibilities
The work as a resource means that you become another person in the work team so that the preschool can meet children with special needs. You are part of the work team at the preschool and together you design a safe, stimulating, and developmental education and learning environment for the children, where the curriculum (Lpfö18) describes the work and education that the preschool offers the children. Together, the work team designs the education so that children in need of special support receive the support and challenges they need for their development, as well as being stimulated and developed in their play and learning.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are trained as a preschool teacher/childcare worker and who have good experience working with children in need of special support.
It is important that:
- you are familiar with our guiding document, the Curriculum for the Preschool (Lpfö18),
- you are a secure and clear leader, easy to take initiative, positive, and have faith in the children's different competencies,
- you have a solution focus, are flexible and innovative. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and personal suitability.
- you value trusting relationships with children and guardians and have good collaboration skills,
- you use picture support and TAKK (signs as alternative complementary communication).
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the position. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative authority for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is meritorious when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.

Working Hours/Duration
Full-time (100%) – fixed-term employment from August 3 to December 23. With the possibility of extension.
