Unit Coordinator for Home Care – Hjo Municipality
Do you want to help develop the future of home care in a small municipality with great commitment and close proximity to both colleagues and residents? Hjo Municipality is the small wooden town by the shore of Lake Vättern, where decisions, collaboration, and development are close at hand.
The Home Care in Hjo Municipality is in a development phase and has recently formed a new team with managers, planners, and unit coordinators to strengthen collaboration, quality, and daily operations. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to secure and high-quality care for our users.
As a Unit Coordinator, you play a central role in the operations and work closely with managers, planners, and staff. You provide support in both administrative and operational matters, contributing to efficient operations with high quality and good continuity.
The position is located at Vallgården in central Hjo. Working hours are daytime on weekdays from 06:30–15:30 with flexible agreements.
Responsibilities
In this role, you work with scheduling, staffing, and handling changes in operations such as sick leave and urgent needs in collaboration with the manager, planner, and staffing unit. You contribute to structure and good conditions for employees in their daily work.
You are also responsible for administrative tasks such as documentation, follow-up, and work in digital operational systems like Medvind, LifeCare, and Phoniro. The role also includes coordinating the introduction of new employees and ensuring that decisions and implementation plans are executed with high quality.
The role involves many contact points with users, relatives, assistance handlers, and other partners. You also participate in quality and development work within home care.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who thrive in a coordinating role where you can combine planning, administration, and collaboration with people. You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner, even when the pace is fast.
You have good administrative and digital skills, and preferably experience in staffing, planning, or coordination. You have an understanding of SoL (Social Services Act) interventions, social documentation, and implementation plans.
Since the role involves many contact points, you are communicative, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. You lead by example and act in accordance with our leadership model in everyday life.
Personal suitability is highly valued, but we consider a high school diploma, preferably within care and nursing, necessary. It is not a strict requirement for the position, but a role as a Unit Coordinator is a good foundation for applying for future management roles, which requires a relevant university degree. Therefore, we view post-secondary education positively.
In addition, you need a B driver's license and a commitment to quality, continuity, and development within elderly care and home care.
Why Hjo?
Here you get a role where you truly see that your work makes a difference. You work close to the operations, close to the decisions, and close to the people.
We offer a workplace with commitment, community, and a desire to develop together.
