We are supporting a global, engineering-driven company that develops advanced technical products with high requirements on performance, safety, and reliability. Within one of their test and development environments, they are now looking for a Lab & EMC Engineer to strengthen their capabilities within verification and compliance.

In this role, you will work close to both hardware and testing, taking ownership of EMC-related lab activities. You will be involved in designing test setups, developing test methods, executing tests, and supporting engineering teams with technical expertise. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working practically in a lab environment while also contributing to structured, standards-driven development work.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop EMC test cases for systems and sub-components using LabVIEW with Q-Max as interface

Create and maintain test documentation and manuals for EMC test methods

Configure and develop test setups using existing lab equipment (e.g. PLC systems, I/O boards, inverters) or customized solutions

Select and integrate sensors and hardware components for test environments

Produce technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, drawings, and component specifications

Take ownership of test planning within development projects

Monitor and interpret updates in relevant EMC standards and support teams with guidance

Execute EMC testing and compile test reports in line with applicable standards

Support technicians and engineers during test execution with technical input and feedback

To be successful in this role, we see that you have:

  • Degree in electrical or electronics engineering
  • Experience from development, automation/control systems and/or EMC testing
  • Experience with CAD tools for schematics and/or PCB design
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office 365
  • Fluent in English
  • Valid driver’s license (B)

As a person, you are open-minded, honest, easy to deal with, willing to cooperate and learn, and ready to take initiative when it is missing from others.
