Unika Aspen is a BMSS (Business Model for Support Services) focusing on person group 1, Autism, and Intellectual Disability. The activity, which started in 2021, is located in a nature-friendly setting by Lake Aspen, approximately 5 minutes from Aspen Station. Here you are welcome to a cheerful and positive team that works every day to provide the best possible care for those living with us. We are currently looking for 2–3 summer replacements who want to work during the summer, June–August.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually adapted support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, basing our work on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective handling to create security and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills, relate to others in a listening manner, and enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
• Experience working within healthcare and social care.
• Upper secondary education such as Child and Youth Program, Care and Health Program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field.

Meritorious if you additionally have:

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective handling.
• Experience working with complex support needs.
